Young Entrepreneurs: Start Your First Business
About Course
Every big company you have ever heard of started as a small idea in someone’s head. The amazing news? You do not have to wait until you are a grown-up to begin. With a good idea, a simple plan, and a little courage, a kid with some lemonade, hand-made bracelets, or a dog-walking service can run a real business and earn real money.
This course walks you through the whole journey, step by step, the same way actual founders do it. You will learn how to spot a problem worth solving, turn it into an idea people will pay for, and check that idea by asking real customers. Then you will build a simple one-page plan, work out your costs and prices so you actually make a profit, and figure out how much money you need to start.
After that comes the fun part: making your product or service, giving it a name and a look people remember, telling the world about it with flyers and word of mouth (and a safe little online presence set up with a grown-up), and keeping customers so happy they come back. Finally, you will learn to track your money, decide when to save and when to grow, bounce back from setbacks, run your business honestly, and pitch it with confidence.
This is for curious kids and young teens, about 10 to 15, who are ready to go beyond “saving pocket money” and actually create something. Every lesson has real kid-business examples, simple money math you can copy, and a “Try this:” activity to get you moving. Grab a notebook, bring a parent into the adventure, and let’s build your first business.
