Math Made Fun: Fractions, Decimals & Percentages
About Course
Fractions, decimals, and percentages have a reputation for being the trickiest part of school math, but here is the secret: they are really just three different ways of saying the same thing. Once that clicks, a whole chunk of math suddenly makes sense, and this course is built to make it click using pictures, pizzas, money, and real life.
We start by getting comfortable with fractions, what they actually mean and how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide them without fear. Then we explore decimals and place value, before connecting both to percentages so you can flip between all three with confidence. Finally, you will use percentages the way grown-ups do every day: working out discounts at the shops, tips at a restaurant, and even how savings grow with interest.
Every lesson is short and friendly, with fully worked examples you can follow step by step, a heads-up about the mistake almost everyone makes, and a couple of practice problems with answers so you can check yourself. There is no rush and no pressure, just clear explanations and lots of small wins.
This is for curious learners aged about 9 to 12 (and grown-ups helping them) who want math to finally feel doable, useful, and maybe even fun. By the end, you will look at a price tag, a recipe, or a test question with fractions and think, “I’ve got this.”
